Wharthogs are numerous throughout the Mount Etjo area, they can be spotted digging up roots in open savanna areas as well as around waterholes.
Male Warthogs have two pairs of warts on their face, females only have one pair.
Hunting warthogs can be extreamly difficult in the rainy season, as of the tall grass, it's not easy to see them. In drier months ambushing warthogs around waterholes or favourate grazing areas are alot more successfull.
